The staff, students, families, and community of Twentynine Palms Junior High School are devoted to focusing our efforts in the 3 R's - Rigor, Relevancy, and Relationships, while incorporating AVID, Capturing Kids Hearts practices, and Differentiated Instruction in all that we do.
TPJHS strives to assure high levels of learning for all students in a safe, community environment.
Enrollment begins with you contacting the school. Your primary contact person at TPJHS for enrollment is Mrs. Laura Spear. Although Mrs. Spear is the person who will be processing the majority of the enrollment paperwork, anyone in the office will do their best to assist you.
As with everything, there is paperwork involved in the enrollment process. Enrollment packets are available in the office, and it is our hope that the entire enrollment packet will be online shortly. Enrollment packets can be picked up in person, or if you prefer, we can mail one to you.
At TPJHS every student is assessed in the areas of English Language Arts and Math prior to having a schedule created. This "extra" step is used to create the best schedule possible for every student.
Although it is preferred that appointments are made for enrollment and assessment, they are not required. If you wish to make an appointment to enroll your child and schedule the assessments, please contact Mrs. Spear or Mrs. Mintz.
Are you moving? If so, please see Mrs. Spear. She will make arrangements for your child to check out on his/her last day of attendance. She will also be the person sending your child's permanent record onto the next school of attendence.
Mrs. Spear can be reached by phone at (760) 367-9507 or by email at laura_spear@morongo.k12.ca.us.
Thank you.
